Module for addressing women’s issues to be launched on xotin-qizlar.uz platform

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The government of Uzbekistan has adopted a resolution “On measures to further improve mechanisms for supporting women and the widespread implementation of information and communication technologies for addressing their issues.”

According to the decree, starting in October 2024, a Problem Identification and Systemic Resolution Module (Problem Study Module) will be launched on the Xotin-qizlar.uz platform.

This module will address identified issues at various levels: neighborhood (mahalla), district, region, and nationally, depending on their relevance. By 1 October 2024, mechanisms for resolving and monitoring issues within the module will be implemented, initially at the neighborhood and district (city) levels, and if necessary, at the regional or national levels.

To effectively study and address the appeals received through the module, personal accounts will be created for responsible ministries, agencies, and local executive authorities.

Starting from 1 October 2024, continuous monitoring of the handling of appeals received through the module will commence to resolve women’s issues.
