The high vulnerability of the agricultural and water management complex of the project areas to climate change determines the choice of priorities and main directions of the project on adaptation to future climate impacts, which are generally in line with the country’s priorities reflected in government documents on the implementation of the National Sustainable Development Goals and targets for the period up to 2030. The results of the study also showed that the project had a positive impact on reducing poverty, employment of women and youth. And this is in line with the country’s priorities in terms of sustainable development. And it has made a significant contribution to the achievement of the World Bank’s twin objectives of eradicating extreme poverty and improving the overall well-being of project beneficiaries.
